Licensed Sprinkler Fitter

OFS Group is currently seeking a Licensed Sprinkler Fitter to join our growing Fire Protection Division. This position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced team delivering installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair services for fire protection systems throughout Ontario.

As a member of our team, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain safe, compliant, and reliable fire protection systems while contributing to the continued success of a company with nearly 60 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Install sprinkler systems in accordance with applicable NFPA standards and regulations
• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance, and repairs of sprinkler, fire pump, and standpipe systems
• Troubleshoot system issues and recommend appropriate solutions
• Complete and submit inspection reports and documentation in a timely manner
• Respond to scheduled service calls and emergency service requests as required
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience installing and servicing sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and construction drawings
• Experience cutting, threading, and working with pipe systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Thorough understanding of applicable codes, standards, and regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• CFAA certification considered a strong asset
• Ability to lift 40+ pounds when required
• Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
