Fire Alarms
Fire alarm systems shall be inspected in conformance with ULC-S536 (per the Ontario Fire Code). This code requires monthly and annual testing. Only licenced Canadian Fire Alarm Association Technicians may perform maintenance and inspections. Your buildings fire alarm system must be kept in operable condition at all times. All OFS technicians are certified and licensed by the CFAA, and OFS is a proud distributor of Notifier by Honeywell fire alarm systems.

Ontario Fire Code Section 6.3 - Fire Alarm and Voice Communication Systems for Life Safety
6.3.2.2.
A fire alarm system, with or without voice communication capability, shall be
inspected and tested in conformance with CAN/ULC-S536, "Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems."
Monthly & annual fire alarm tests are required as per CAN/ULC-S536. "Note: A fire alarm inspection is not a sprinkler inspection."
